Seattle in August.
Flying adventures
ahhh children.
Tasting fresh cherries at Pike’s Place Market.
On a scavenger hunt of Pikes Place Market with Stray Boots. Photo with Rachel the pig – mission accomplished.
Can’t resist a fortune teller. How could she possibly know his favorite color is green?
The Giant Shoe Museum. Big Shoes!
Tasting some more fresh fruit at Pikes Place.
Lunch break at the Chinese restaurant. Harry reading the menu in Chinese.
Harry had just impressed some native speaking Chinese with his Mandarin.
Watching cheese being made at Beechers.
Funny faces at the first Starbucks.
Performance art in the park with Patrick’s assistance.
Even Patrick was impressed.
Stand back. Juggling knives and a chainsaw.
The scavenger hunt took us through a fabulous antique store. Hmmm….could it fit me?
Harry: What is this mom?
Me: A rotary phone.
Harry: How does it work?
( I sure felt old).
He was enamored with this phone. Oh, how times have changed.

What’s this? A phone with a cord?
A rat? No, just Harry. (This antique store provided hours of entertainment value.)
More scavenger hunt – a clue in the Anarchists Bookstore.
Checking out the gum wall.
Is he brave enough to add to the wall?
Oh yuck.
Scavenger hunt complete. Time for a little Starbucks.

Cruising through Pike’s Place on a drizzly afternoon.
This shot just made me laugh.
What better way to end the day, a glass of wine with the reflection of Seattle.
